Shells at Laura*s

Shelling is a common activity to do while visiting the beach in March. Shells at Laura’s, is a seamless pattern design that I created as a reminiscence of a trip to Hatteras, NC, last year.

For this project I first drew some types of shells with pencil and later used adobe fresco to color in digital.

Colorways

In the case of this seamless pattern, I colored with one shade first (rapport above) and later created other color ways by experimenting with photoshop as you’ll see in the following images..
